The Weebly Web
In this session you will have time to explore the simplicity of creating a web site through WEEBLY - an online web creator. You will set your own personal goals for the session and be given time to design and explore at your own comfort level. You can receive assistance from an experienced designer to work toward that goal, or come and work on your own if that is your preference. Personal goals may include, but are not limited to, things such as:
- Creating and editing a web page with text
- Create layers of tab selections (Like the PRESENTATION Tab at the top of this page when you hover with your mouse)
- Putting an image on my Weebly
- Uploading a document, such as a PDF, for students to open and view
- Have students upload files that are sent to you
- Creating a CONTACT FORM on a page (People can make comments and they are sent to you)
- Linking my Weebly to Facebook or Twitter
- Creating an email button on a page - (EX: "Contact Mr. Dunaway" at the top of this page)
- Create a button that jumps the viewer to another web page
- Create a LINK on text or a photo to jump to another web page
- Embed a video from YouTube onto your web page
- Create a survey on your page
