SPRING 2019 LEAGUE FAQ's

WHEN DO WE PLAY:
All games are scheduled from 6 - 8 pm. Each night is a double header, 50 minutes or 9 innings. Please try to arrive at 5:30 for pregame discussions, warm ups and the National Anthem. Here are the dates for this season:
WHAT DO I WEAR?:
Anything with a BATMAN theme. If you don't have any Batman shirts, any Black top will be fine. You can wear shorts or pants - whatever you are comfortable playing in. Tennis Shoes or rubber cleats are allowed. No steal spikes. No gloves. It's Wiffle Ball. WHAT ARE THE RULES?

WHERE DO WE PLAY:
We will be playing our league games (April - May) at Stohl park located near 119th and Quivera. When you enter Stohl Park, drive all the way to the end of the park and you have to walk on a short paved path to get to FIELD F

Our History
Originally called the Tighty Whities and created by Move Right KC Founder Tim Crough who earned a B.S. in Exercise Science from Kansas University where he coached Jayhawk athletes in the Strength and Conditioning Dept. He continued coaching with the Colorado Rockies organization before heading back home to KC to train and coach in the private sector. Tim is a highly qualified professional and a man of highest character.
After some reorganization of the Tidy Whities, coaching responsibilities were handed off to John Dunaway to allow time for Tim to focus on his business, but Tim continues to be a significant piece of this team. (And John has a lot more free time on his hands!!) John has over 20 years baseball coaching experience including High School Head Coach.
In order to scratch John's inner superhero geek, we agreed to change our name to The Batmen and go with a Batman uniform theme.
THE HOLLOW
The Hollow is a glorious Wiffle Field located at 52nd and Wornall across from Loose Park. If you are ever in the area be sure to slow down and take a look. And if you are lucky, you might get to play there someday!
